Each year for more than 15 years the Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary and Raising Special Kids have teamed up to bring Special Day for Special Kids to the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale. Recently, the two organizations collaborated on another event — the Good Morning, Great Cause — a breakfast held at the beautiful Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale.

Guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast while listening to inspiring stories from self-advocates Amy Bockerstette, via video, and Luis Serna who is a perennial favorite known for his wit and insightful thoughts on living with a disability.

Among some of the highly sought after auction items were a limited edition print by Lori Quarton and a Phoenix Suns Ring of Honor basketball signed by legendary players Sir Charles Barkley, Dick Van Arsdale, KJ, Kevin Johnson, Alvin Adams, Paul Westfall, Connie Hawkins, Walt Davis and Joe Proski.

Funds raised at the event will support Special Day for Special Kids and the programs of Raising Special Kids.
