Raising Special Kids is pleased to bring back Summer School For Parents on June 11. This year, our day of learning will be in person at Central High School in Phoenix and will include training on our most requested topics as well as a few new topics! Can’t be there in person? No sweat! There is an online offering as well.

9:00 AM Developing Good Bedtime Routines (ages 0-12) – This discussion topic explores different problems parents commonly face at bedtime and some of the reasons why they happen.
10:00 AM IEP Training (online) – Learn about the special education process and the Individualized Education Program (IEP).
12:00 PM High School Transition – Learn about what is included in the IEP transition planning process which should start by the student’s 16th birthday.
2:00 PM Reducing Family Conflict (ages 12-17) – Positive parenting suggestions to help you teach your teenager how to get along with others in the family without constant fights and arguments.
