In the Spring 2022 edition of Connecting, we included a photo of a young girl receiving a tube feeding while lying on her back. One of our readers shared with us that conducting tube feedings in this manner increases the risk of aspiration. We apologize for the inclusion of the photograph and encourage everyone to follow the direction of their medical providers when administering nutritional formula, medication or other therapy.
