The most common way is through a referral process initiated by a family's doctor, teacher, clergy or other professional who knows the family.
Families may also refer themselves to Raising Special Kids.
Raising Special Kids provides its services at no cost to families, in English and Spanish.
Most training is provided face-to-face through our workshops.
Raising Special Kids does not provide childcare services during workshops and does not have facilities to accommodate children for long periods of time.
Raising Special Kids is a nonprofit organization funded through state and federal grants and private donations.
