Behavioral Health Virtual Community Conversation

DES/DDD Office of Individual and Family Affairs (OIFA) in collaboration with Raising Special Kids and the OIFAs with the other AHCCCS Health Plans will be hosting a Community Conversation to hear from Arizona families about their experiences accessing behavioral health supports for their family members with behavioral health needs and/or developmental disabilities. Together we can break down barriers to care.

This past year has placed unprecedented stress on everyone including children and young adults.

A behavioral health expert will provide information on:

• • Possible warning signs and red flags to look for from their children and young adults that might indicate increased anxiety and/or depression.
  • Suggestions for families on getting assistance and supports.
